Peanut Butter Snickers Cookies |

This recipe is from an old magazine cookbook called Fun Ideas with Cookie Dough. These are yummy, make them every year!! Prep time includes icing the finished cookies. Ingredients:
1 - 18 oz roll peanut butter cookie dough |
36 miniature snickers bars (the bite size, about 1 inch square - or, if you can't find them, you can slice the other sizes into 1 inch pieces) |
36 small paper baking cups (1 3/4 in) |
1 - 18 oz can milk chocolate frosting |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 2. For each baking cup, wrap a heaping teaspoon of dough arouhd a Snickers, enclosing it almost completely and forming a ball 3. Place each ball in a baking cup, about 1 inch apart on ungeased cookie sheetsBake 8-12 minutes or until golden brown 4. Centers of cookies will sink slightly 5. Remove from cookie sheet and cool 15 minutes, or until completely cooled 6. Spoon about 3/4 c frosting into pastry bag, or ziploc bag with corner snipped off, and pipe a swirl of frosting in the center of each cookie |
