Handwritten from G-ma Roberts and I remember this filled with a dense chocolate fudgy filling topped with slightly sweetened whipped cream, alas and alac, that fudgy filling is missing in her book of magic. Remind me to tell you of the most disastrous day that she make this pie just for me. Read more . It involved two emergency room visits in less than 12 hours. It is a miracle I survived Christmas in Marathon 1968.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of honey
3/4 cup of crushed graham crackers
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, mixing well with a fork.
2. Press the crust into a nine inch pie plate pressing well with the back of a spoon that has been dipped in ice cold water.
3. Bake 10 minutes at 325 degrees.
4. Cool completely before attempting to fill with any kind of filling.
