I love finding variations for anything with peanut butter. This is a super simple dessert that you can make quickly that will impress your guests. YUM.
Ingredients:
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
9 inches chocolate crumb crusts
1/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/4 cups chocolate crumb wafers (about 20 chocolate wafers)
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, and confectioners' sugar until smooth.
2. Fold in whipped topping.
3. Spread into crust.
4. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
6. To make a homemade chocolate crumb crust:.
7. Combine chocolate wafers, sugar, and melted butter and blend well. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9 inch pie plate. Chill 30 minutes before filling.
