Ingredients:
crushed nuts or powdered sugar for coating (optional) |
1 1/4 cup(s) jelly |
1 1/2 cup(s) peanut butter |
6 slice(s) whole wheat bread |
Directions:
1. In a food processor combine the bread, peanut butter, and jelly. Process until the ingredients form a thick dark brown dough with an even consistency. There should be no streaks of peanut butter or jelly. 2. Break off tablespoon sized chunks of dough and roll into balls. The truffles then can be rolled in crushed nuts or powdered sugar. If not serving immediately, refrigerate in an airtight container. |
