a nice early morning breakfast meal. Ingredients:
3 cups dry oatmeal |
1/4 cup wheat germ |
1/4 cup toasted coconut |
1/4 cup sunflower seeds |
1/4 cup raisins |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a slow cooker. 2. Melt together the final 3 ingredients, and pour over oatmeal in cooker, and mix well. 3. Cover and cook on low for 1 1/2 hours stirring every 20 minutes. 4. Sprad onto cookie sheet, and when completely cooled break into chunks, and store in an airtight container, or serve when cooled. |
