Two favorite snack flavors -- peanuts and chocolate -- are layered in these sweet and nutty bar cookies. Ingredients:
crisco® original no-stick cooking spray |
1 (18.25 ounce) package pillsbury® golden butter cake |
1 cup jif® extra crunchy peanut butter |
1/2 cup water |
1 large egg |
1 (16 ounce) container pillsbury® chocolate fudge frosting |
1/2 cup jif® extra crunchy peanut butter |
1/2 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces |
1/2 cup chopped peanuts |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray 13 x 9-inch pan with no-stick cooking spray. In large bowl, combine cake mix, 1 cup peanut butter, water and egg on low speed, mixing 2 minutes on medium speed. Spread into prepared pan. 2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until puffed and light golden brown. Cool completely. 3. Blend frosting with 1/2 cup peanut butter in a small bowl. Spread over cooled bars. 4. Top with candy pieces and chopped peanuts. |
