chocolate brownies with a twist... these are easy to make but looks like you really worked hard!!! the recipe is from a 10 year old Homemakers School magazine.. Ingredients:
1 cup butter, melted |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teasp. vanilla |
1 1/4 cups flour |
2/3 cups hershey's cocoa |
1/4 cup milk |
1 1/4 cup very coarsely chopped pecans |
1/2 cup butter |
1 pkg ( 10-ounces) reese's peanut butter chips |
1 can ( 14-ounces) sweetened condensed milk |
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350' F 2. In a large bine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla...beat well 3. add flour, cocoa, and milk...beat until blended 4. add 1 cup of the pecans....stir 5. pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan 6. bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until the sides begin to pull away from the pan 7. cool completely in pan on wire rack 8. ........................................................................... 9. in medium saucepan over low heat...melt 1/2 cup butter and the peanut butter chips stirring constantly 10. stir in condensed milk and stir until smooth 11. pour over brownies 12. ........................................................................... 13. in glass measuring cup place chocolate chips 14. microwave on high for 45 seconds.....stir 15. if necessary microwave for 15 more seconds at a time ... 16. stirring after each heating ...just until chips are melted 17. drizzle over fudge layer...zig-zaging back and forth 18. .................................................................................. 19. chop remaining 1/4 cup pecan medium fine and sprinkle on top 20. refrigerate 1 hour or until firm...cut into bars 21. makes 24 brownies |
