A really simple old fashioned fudge recipe. It has a really peanut buttery flavor. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2 tbsp. light corn syrup |
1/2 cup milk |
1 tbsp. cider vinegar |
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter |
Directions:
1. Butter or spray with nonstick spray an 8 inch square baking pan. 2. Mix all ingredients except peanut butter in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until temperature reaches 234° F. (usually about 5 minutes) Remove from heat. Beat in peanut butter with a wooden spoon until mixture thickens. Be patient! Pour into buttered pan. Cool before cutting into 1 inch squares. 3. Makes 64 1 inch pieces |
