From the 1961 Lutheran Favorites of St. James Lutheran Church, Howard Lake, Minnesota. Submitted by Mrs. Walter Engel. Ingredients:
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 cup peanut butter |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
3 cups rice krispies |
thin powdered sugar frosting |
fine coconut or ground peanuts |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, butter, and peanut butter in a large bowl. 2. Mix well. 3. Add rice krispies. 4. Put in greased pan and chill. 5. Cut in bars and roll finger length. 6. Dip in a thin powdered sugar frosting. 7. Then roll in fine coconut or ground peanuts. 8. Keep in refrigerator till used. |
