Peanut Butter Energy Bars |

Peanut butter, oatmeal, nuts, and other good things. Ingredients:
3/4 cup water |
1 1/2 cup oats |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1 tsp vital wheat gluten |
3/4 cup kashi cereal |
1/4 cup spelt flour |
2 tbsp brown rice syrup |
2 tsp milled flax seed |
1/4 cup chopped walnuts |
1 tbsp lighter bake |
Directions:
1. Line 8x10 baking pan with foil 2. Mix all ingredients together in pot, mixing the flax seeds with water to form a paste 3. Cook over med-low until thickened and sticks to self 4. Spread in pan evenly 5. Set in fridge to cool 6. Cut into 10 bars 7. Wrap individually in plastic wrap to preserve and easily take with you |
