Peanut Butter Cookies With Kisses |

This comes from the Betty Crocker Cookie Cookbook; I use this at Christmas to make Hershey's Kiss cookies. Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup margarine |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1 egg |
1 1/4 cups flour |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 (14 ounce) bag hershey chocolate kisses |
Directions:
1. Mix sugars, margarine, peanut butter, and egg. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients. 3. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours. 4. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. 5. Shape dough into 1 balls. 6. Bake until light brown, 9 to 10 minutes. 7. Cool 2 minutes, remove from cookie sheet. 8. Place unwrapped hershey's kiss in the middle of each cookie and let cool for hours or overnight. |
