The recipe was written exactly as you see. I only divided everything in two and used two 20cm cake pans and made two different decoration types. Served one in my son’s birthday with chocolate glaze. Ingredients:
2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs |
1 cup butter, melted |
method |
grease a 22cm spring form pan. mix crumbs with melted butter. press evenly onto the base and two thirds up the sides of the pan. refrigerate while preparing the filling |
filling |
13 oz cream cheese, at room temperature. |
1 cup castor sugar |
1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter, i used the chunky one. |
5 large eggs |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 320F. Beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter and mix well. Beat in eggs one at a time, add sour cream, lemon juice and half of the chocolate chips and mix well. Pour into the prepared crust. 2. Place the spring form pan on a baking sheet and bake for 55 to 65 minutes until the sides are firm. Halfway through, sprinkle the cheesecakes with the remaining chocolate chips and resume baking. When the cheesecake is set, turn the oven off, open the door and leave to cool completely. 3. To decorate just sift cocoa powder over the top or use the normal chocolate glaze. |
