If you like peanut butter cups-you will love these. This recipe was in Penzeys One. Ingredients:
1 cup chunky peanut butter |
1/2 cup margarine |
2 cups packed brown sugar |
4 large eggs, beaten |
1 tablespoon honey |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger |
2 cups chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Grease a 9x13-inch pan. 3. Mix together the peanut butter and butter. 4. Add the the brown sugar and mix well. 5. Add the eggs, honey, and vanilla; mix until smooth. 6. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and ginger. 7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter. Don't mix too much. 8. Fold in the chocolate chips. 9. Pour into the pan and bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes. Do not over bake! 10. Cool before cutting. |
