Just like the ones that were in school cafeterias. Make these for the kids and drizzle chocolate and butterscotch on top. Rich but excellent. Ingredients:
1c corn syrup |
1c white sugar |
1c creamy peanut butter |
4 and 1/2c cornflake cereal |
1c semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1c butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan over med. heat,combine corn syrup and white sugar. Bring to a boil,boil 1 min.,and remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until well blended.Mix in cereal till evenly coated. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
2. In a glass bowl in microwave,melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips,stirring frequently till smooth. Drizzle on top of cookies.
