2 cups sifted cake flour |
1 1/3 cups sugar |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1/2 cup shortening |
2/3 cup milk |
2 eggs, unbeaten |
1/3 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Stir dry ingredients together, add peanut butter, shortening and 2/3 cup milk. Beat 2 minutes in mixer on medium speed. Add eggs and 1/3 cup milk and beat 2 minutes longer. Pour into two (8-inch) layer pans and bake at 350*F for 30 to 35 minutes. |
