I have not cooked these out on the grill but late when all I wanted to do was throw something in a skillet and eat! I know it is unusual to see peanut butter in hamburgers but give it a try and see! Ingredients:
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter |
1 lb ground chuck |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
butter or margarine |
5 hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, with fork, lightly mix peanut butter, ground chuck, salt and pepper just until combined Divide into 5 burgers, about 1/2 cup for each one. 2. Flatten gently. 3. Arrange in large skillet, not overlapping. 4. Cook over medium heat about 4 minutes to a side or until done to desired doneness. 5. Serve in buttered buns. |
