This is a good breakfast or energy bar....Loads of taste.... Ingredients:
non stick cooking spray |
4 cups sweetened oat cereal flakes with raisins |
3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats |
1/2 cup all purpose flour |
1/2 cup snipped dried apples |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
1/3 cup honey |
1/3 cup chunky peanut butter |
1/4 cup butter, melted, or cooking oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees; line a 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish with foil. 2. Coat foil with non stick cooking spray; set aside. 3. In a bowl combine cereal, rolled oats, flour and dried apples; set aside. 4. In a small bowl stir together eggs, honey, peanut butter, and melted butter; mix well. 5. Pour over cereal mixture; mix well. 6. Transfer mixture to prepared pan. 7. Using the back of a large spoon, press mixture firmly into pan. 8. Bake for 28 to 20 minutes or until edges are browned. 9.
