Love peanut butter cookies and the added m&m's give them something extra special. Enjoy Ingredients:

1 cup margarine |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1 cup extra-crunchy peanut butter (i've found that jiffy makes the best cookies) |
2 tablespoons milk |
2 eggs |
2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 lb. peanut butter m&ms |
chocolate peanut butter frosting |
1/4 cup margarine |
1/4 cup milk |
1/8 cup cocoa |
2 1/8 cups powdered sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1/8 cup peanut butter |
Directions:
1. Combine margarine, sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter and milk in a large bowl. Beat until well blended. Beat in egg. Combine flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add gradually at low speed. Shape dough into 1 1/4 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly and top with four M&M's. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely. 2. For frosting, combine margarine, milk and cocoa in a saucepan; bring to boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients; beat at medium speed until smooth. Drizzle over cookies. |
