Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup sifted flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup flaked coconut
1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Cream butter and peanut butter. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar gradually, beating until fluffy. Add 1 cup flour half at a time, beating until well mixed.
2. Press into a greased 9x9 pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
3. Beat eggs, vanilla, and 1 cup brown sugar until creamy. Add flour and baking powder, beat until well blended. Stir in coconut and chocolate chips.
4. Spread over hot crust, return to oven and bake 30 minutes.
