This recipe comes from a Cooking For Kids cookbook. My younger DD wanted it with breakfast. It's very easy to make and she really liked it. The original recipe called for corn syrup but since that is in so many other things already I substituted honey. I didn't think it got very thick but it was still good. I guess you could add more ice cubes if you wanted it thicker. It's best to drink it right away. The flavors get kind of funky (in my opinion) if you let it sit.
Ingredients:
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup milk
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1 ripe banana, cut in chunks
5 ice cubes
Directions:
1. In blender combine the yogurt, milk, peanut butter, honey and banana.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. With blender running, carefully add ice cubes.
4. Blend until thickened and smooth.
5. Serve immediately.
