No knife and fork needed—just use your hands like you would when eating an open-faced sandwich. Ingredients:
4 frozen mini waffles |
1 tablespoon natural-style peanut butter |
2 teaspoons honey |
1/2 small banana, sliced |
Directions:
1. Toast waffles according to package directions. 2. While waffles cook, combine peanut butter and honey. Spread mixture over waffles, and top with banana slices. 3. Nutrition Note: Peanut Butter Tip Natural peanut butter lacks the added sugar and hydrogenated fats that other peanut butters have, making it a healthier option. The downside, though, is that spreading it can be hard after it is stored in the refrigerator. To make spreading easier, microwave it a few seconds to soften, and then stir well. 4. Young Chefs can: 5. Break mini waffles apart 6. Top waffles with banana slices 7. Older Chefs can: 8. Stir together peanut butter and honey 9. Slice banana with dinner knife |
