This recipes comes from one of my best friends. A little messy to make, but so yummy to eat! Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, soft (room temperature) |
1 lb confectioners' sugar |
2 cups peanut butter, creamy |
2 cups rice krispies |
12 ounces milk chocolate chips |
1/4 stick paraffin wax (cooking wax) |
Directions:
1. Mix first four ingredients with hands to an even consistency (the key here is 'with hands' so as not to crush all the krispies). 2. Roll into about 1/2 diameter balls. 3. Melt cooking paraffin and chocolate chips in double boiler. Keep on low heat so it stays melted for easier rolling. 4. Roll balls into warm chocolate sauce. Let set up on a cookie sheet in the refrigerator before storing in airtight container or ziplock bag. 5. Keeps well in the refrigerator for a month. |
