Peanut Butter and Maple Oatmeal |

This is a quick and tasty oatmeal recipe that I've really enjoyed. Even my daughter who doesn't like oatmeal will eat this right up! Ingredients:
3/4 cup water |
1/4 cup steel-cut oats (such as trader joe's® quick cook oats) |
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter (such as whole foods 365 organic everyday value®) |
1 tablespoon maple syrup |
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, stir steel cut oats into water, and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook until oats are tender, 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand 1 minute. 2. Stir peanut butter, maple syrup, and brown sugar into oats. |
