This is a peanut butter flavored cookie that is topped with a Hershey kiss and is another family favorite that I have been making for a very long time. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups of flour |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 tsp baking soda |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar(packed firm) |
48 hershey kisses |
1/2 cup shortening |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1 egg |
2 t milk |
1 tsp vanilla |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except the kisses.
2. Mix well and shape into balls about a teaspoon size.
3. Roll balls in sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes.
5. After baking top each cookie with a kiss so cookie cracks.
6. Makes 48 cookies.
