Mmmmm, I'm drooling just thinking about making this one. It is a creamy smooth dessert that is without a doubt a real family favorate. Peanut butter and bananas were meant to be together Ingredients:
1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed |
1/4 cup cornstarch |
1/4 tsp salt |
3 1/4 cups milk |
3/4 cup creamy-style peanut butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3 bananas, sliced |
cool whip; optional |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, stir together brown sugar, cornstarch and salt. 2. Gradually stir in milk until smooth. 3. Bring to a boil; stir 1 minute. 4. Remove pan from heat. 5. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract. 6. Pour peanut butter pudding between layers of sliced bananas in individual serving dishes. 7. Chill to serve. 8. Top with Cool Whip if desired. |
