Peachy chicken ;) Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) can peaches |
2 1/2 lbs skinless chicken pieces |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate |
1/4 cup malt vinegar |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
Directions:
1. Drain 2 can peaches, reserve liquid. 2. Brown skinned chicken pieces in vegetable oil. 3. Combine peach liquid, frozen oj concentrate; thawed, malt vinegar, brown sugar, basil, salt, cloves, cinnamon and pepper. 4. Pour over chicken; cover; simmer 25-30 minutes. 5. Add peaches, heat. 6. Combine 2 tbsp each corn starch and water. 7. Stir into sauce. 8. Heat, stirring until thickened. 9. Serve with rice. |
