this recipe looks delicious. i have not tried it yet. Ingredients:
4 cups day-old bread cubes |
3 eggs |
1 1/2 cups milk |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
1 (21 ounce) can comstock peach pie filling, divided |
Directions:
1. heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. spread bread cubes in greased 9 inch square baking pan. 3. whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and extract. 4. stir in 1 cup peach filling. 5. pour over bread cubes, pressing custard down into bread with back of spoon. 6. bake 30-40 minutes until knife inserted near center comes out clean. 7. heat remaining peach filling and spoon over warm pudding. |
