This is a great dessert, quick and easy, also good to make during the hot summer months. I get lots of requests for this from family and friends. Hope you enjoy! Ingredients:
1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened |
2 tbsp sugar |
2 tbsp milk |
3 1/2 cups thawed cool-whip |
1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled |
2 medium peaches, peeled (or canned peach slices, drained) |
1 package (4 servings) vanilla pudding |
1 cup cold milk |
1/4 tsp almond extract |
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Blend in sugar, 2 Tbsp milk, and 2 cups of cool-whip. Spread cream cheese mixture in pie crust, top with diced peaches, press down lightly into cream cheese mixture. 2. Prepare pudding using 1 cup of milk, beat in almond extract. Let stand 5 minutes. Beat in the rest of the cool-whip and spread over peaches. Chill overnight. |
