A more savory than sweet dessert. It reminds me of cajun desserts - that is, a final course rather than a sweet course. Ingredients:
4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced |
5 oz red wine |
2 tbsp powdered sugar |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1 tsp lemon zest |
Directions:
1. Place the peach slices in a bowl, covering them until ready 2. Boil the remaining ingredients together, mixing, and pour over the peaches while still boiling 3. Cover and let sit for 2 hours 4. Serve on a serving dish with the wine sauce |
