Peaches And Cream Coffee Cake |

This sounded good.. It is from my cookbook (fundraiser.. Everybody else's recipe.. (That everyone asks for) by a Chris walls... Ingredients:
3/4 c. flour |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1 tsp. baking powder |
3 tbs. butter softened |
1 3oz vanilla pudding mix (not instant) |
1 egg |
1/2 c. milk |
16 oz can peaches heavy syrup reserving 3 tbs of juice.. the rest drained... |
8 oz cream cheese softened |
1/2 c. sugar |
topping |
1 tbs sugar |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/3 c. walnuts.. (i chopped nine a little) |
Directions:
1. Combine first three ingrediants with butter. 2. Add pudding, egg, and milk. 3. Mix on medium speed two minutes. 4. Grease 10' deep dish pie pan. 5. Pour in batter, arrange peach slices on top 6. Mix cream cheese and syrup until smmoth (Syrup from the reserved peach juice) 7. Spoon over peaches to 1' of pan's edge 8. Mix topping and sprinkle over peaches 9. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm... 10. I like vanilla bean ice cream on mine.. |
