Peaches And Cream Cheese Pie |

This pie actually makes its own crust! I am not a huge fan of peaches, but this is one that I really love. Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
3.5 ounces vanilla pudding mix (not instant) |
3 tablespoons butter, softened |
1 large egg |
1/2 cup milk |
2-15 ounce cans peaches in syrup, drained, keep liquid on reserve |
1-8 ounce package cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Butter a 10-inch deep dish pie pan. 3. In a bowl, combine flour, pudding, salt and baking powder. 4. Add butter, egg and milk. 5. Pour into prepared pan. 6. Arrange peach slices on batter in a nice spiral pattern. 7. Sprinkle with cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar. 8. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and 4 tablespoons of the reserved peach syrup. 9. Mix for 2 minutes. 10. Carefully spoon cream cheese mixtrue onto peaches to about 1/2 inch from the edge. 11. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. 12. Remove and cool on rack completely. 13. Refrigerate before serving. |
