Take one part vinegar, two parts peach preserves, three parts chicken broth, and seasonings: boil, reduce, and serve to create this beautiful sauce. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons chicken broth |
2 tablespoons peach preserves |
1 tablespoon sherry vinegar |
1 pinch chinese five-spice powder |
1 pinch cayenne pepper |
salt and ground black pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Whisk chicken broth, peach preserves, sherry vinegar, Chinese five-spice powder, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil; cook until reduced and slightly thickened, 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. |
