Peach Salad With Wine Dressing |

This is an elegant way of serving tinned peaches. It is ever so easy, and to make it even better, you could serve it with a dollop of chantilly or ice-cream. Ingredients:
150 grs sugar |
3 cinnamon sticks |
3 dl red wine |
a strip of lemon peel |
1 can peaches, drained |
chopped almonds or pine kernels |
Directions:
1. Put all the ingredients (except the peaches) in a saucepan. 2. Boil , in low heat, for 15 minutes. 3. Pour over the drained peaches and let it cool/chill. 4. Sprinkle wit chopped almonds or pine kernels and serve. |
