Peach Plum Jam With Cherry Rum and Star Anise |

Something I made up last summer. It's not really a finished recipe yet. It still needs tweaking. Ingredients:
3 cups ripe plums |
3 cups ripe white peaches |
4 1/2 cups white sugar |
4 tablespoons cherry rum |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
3 whole star anise |
Directions:
1. Put star anise in muslin herb bags, combine ingredients, and ook until it's jam! (Remove start anise). Sorry, no cooking time for this or yield yet. (Yields and times listed are a guess). Process in 1/2 pint jars 10 minutes RWB. |
