I haven't tried this yet but I did taste it at a get together. It was wonderful. Prep time does not include 2-3 weeks for liqour to set. Ingredients:
2 lbs peaches |
2 cups sugar |
1/2 liter vodka |
1/2 cup peach schnapps |
Directions:
1. Rinse peaches, dry, slice and peel.
2. Put into big jar, sprinkle with sugar. Wait few days (fruit must give juice). Then add alcohol and vodka.
3. Close jar tightly. Wait 2-3 weeks. Strain liquid to remove any pulp
4. Pour into a blender anad puree.
5. Then pour into clean bottle and close tightly.
