I found this in Reminisce Magazine. The recipe sounds refreshing and tasty (also low cal) especially if you're using ripe summer peaches. Cooking time includes freezing time. Ingredients:
1/3 cup warm water (120 degrees to 130) |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 small peach, peeled, cut into chunks |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. 2. Place the peach, lemon juice and sugar mixture into a blender and process for 1 minute or until blended. 3. Cover and freeze for 3 hours or until almost firm. 4. Transfer to a blender and process again for 30-40 seconds or until slushy. 5. Cover and freeze over night. 6. Remove from freezer just before serving. 7. Using a fork, scrape into 2 dessert dishes. |
