a moist peach - custard -cake, enjoy Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup softened margarine |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 quarts of peaches ..drained |
1 cup syrup ( reserved from peaches) |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 eggs |
2 cups evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. blend flour, margarine and salt. 2. press into a 9 x 13 pan. 3. arrangepeach slices on top. 4. sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the peaches. 5. bake at 375 degrees F. for 20 minutes. 6. mix 1 cup of peach syrup, eggs, and evaporated milk. 7. pour over peaches. return to oven. 8. bake for additional 30 minutes. 9. serves 10 to 12 |
