This is an easy, moist, and flavorful dessert. You can vary the kind of fruit or flavor of pudding for a change. Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 tablespoons margarine |
1 egg |
1 package vanilla pudding mix (not instant) |
1/2 cup milk |
1 (20 ounce) can peaches (drained) |
8 ounces cream cheese |
1/2 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons peach juice |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Mix first 7 ingredients and pour into 9 inch square pan. 2. Drain peaches and arrange on top of batter. 3. Save some of the juice. 4. Mix the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tbls peach juice and pour over the peaches. 5. Sprinkle the top with 1 tbls sugar mixed with 1/2 tsp cinnamon. 6. Bake 35 minutes in 350 degree oven. |
