Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) melted margarine |
1 can(s) sliced peaches |
1 1/4 cup(s) sugar, divided |
1 cup(s) flour |
1 cup(s) milk |
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 container(s) cool whip |
Directions:
1. ) Pour butter into a shallow 9x9 baking dish; set aside 2. ) drain peaches, but SAVE 1/4 cup of juice. 3. ) In a saucepan, bring peaches & juice to just a boil 4. ) MEANWHILE, in a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of the sugar, flour, milk, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. 5. ) Pour over butter in dish. Spoon hot peaches over batter. Sprinkle with remaining sugar. 6. ) Bake at 400 degress for 25 minutes and serve warm with cool whip topping. |
