Ingredients:
2 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
4 tablespoon(s) butter |
1/4 cup(s) cornstarch |
1/2 cup(s) dark brown sugar |
2 cup(s) flour |
1 teaspoon(s) grated lemon peel |
2/3 cup(s) half and half |
1/4 cup(s) lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
2/3 cup(s) sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees 2. Combine peaches, 2/3 cup sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice in saucepan. Heat to boiling, boil 1 minute. Spoon hot mixture into 9x13 glass dish. Bake 10 min. 3. Combine flour, baking powder, lemon peel, salt and remaining sugar. Cut in butter. Stir in half and half to form soft dough. With floured hand pat dough into 10x6 inch rectangle. Cut in half lengthwise then crosswide into 6 pieces. Place biscuits on top of fruit filling. Brush with 1 tablespoon half and half and sprinkle with sugar |
