This is a recipe I have as close to the Peach Cobbler I used to get at Dirty's Restaurant. I use a little less sugar than what is called for in the recipe. Ingredients:
3 cups of peaches |
1 cup of flour |
1 cup of sugar |
1 cup of milk |
3/4 cup of butter |
1 tsp of salt |
3 tsp of baking powder |
1/3 cup of black molasses |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in bottom of 9 X 12 glass baking dish. 2. Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and milk in a bowl. 3. Pour half the batter into baking dish. 4. Place peach slices onto batter in baking dish. 5. Pour rest of batter over peaches. 6. Bake at 375 degrees faranheit for about 35 minutes, or until surface of cobbler firms. 7. Drizzle black molasses over the top of cobbler. 8. Continue baking for another ten minutes until cobbler is browned and pulls away from the side of the baking dish. |
