The ladies in one of our local churches recently sold cookbooks of their own recipes and I bought one. This one is courtesy of Ms. Errington and is really good served hot with vanilla ice cream melting over the top. Ingredients:
1-lg can of peaches |
1-box butter recipe cake mix |
1 stick of butter |
cinnamon |
sugar |
pecans (but i left them out and it was still very good) |
Directions:
1. Pour peaches and juice into 8X11-in Pyrex dish. 2. Pour cake mix over peaches. 3. Slice butter over cake mix. 4. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over top. 5. If using pecans - sprinkle over top of cinnamon and sugar. 6. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes. 7. Susana |
