Found this on an old newspaper clipping, hope to try it soon. Ingredients:
1 (28 ounce) can peach slices |
3 cups stale breadcrumbs |
1/2 cup melted butter |
1 cup light brown sugar, packed |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 lemon, juice of |
Directions:
1. Place the peaches and bread crumbs in a bowl. Add the butter, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and lemon juice and mix well. 2. Pour into a greased casserole. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned, about 25-30 minutes. |
