A wonderful fruit duo combines to make a delicious crumble dessert. Serve with vanilla ice cream and it is even better! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 pinch salt |
12 tablespoons butter, cut in small pieces |
6 ripe peaches, peeled,pitted & thickly sliced |
1 pint blueberries |
1/2 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. In large bowl, combine flour, 3/4 c sugar and salt. 2. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs. 3. Chill topping until ready to use. 4. Toss together peaches, blueberries and 1/2 c sugar. 5. Pour fruit mixture into 8 ceramic dish. 6. Cover fruit with crumble topping. 7. Bake for 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown. |
