This frothy, fruity smoothie, shared by Barbara Hunt of Nipomo, California, is as refreshing as a cool breeze. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups peaches, sliced (fresh or frozen) |
1/2 medium firm banana |
1 cup orange juice |
1/2 cup ice, crushed |
1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt |
1 tablespoon honey |
1/8 teaspoon rum extract or 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine all of the ingredients. Cover and process for 15-20 seconds or until smooth. Sitr if necessary. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately. |
