It was a chilly night, I had peaches in the fridge...maybe a dessert soup? I just wish I'd had some gingersnaps to enjoy with this! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 pinch ground cloves |
1/4 cup peach, chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix cold milk, cornstarch, sugar, and spices. 2. Bring ingredients to a boil, stirring constantly (very important if you want a creamy/not-lumpy result). 3. Gently boil about 2 minutes. 4. Lower heat and add peaches, allowing them to become warm*. 5. Remove from heat and enjoy the soothing creaminess! 6. *Optional: With a hand blender, puree to a smooth consistency. |
