This cake is super yummy. It has a similar texture to bread pudding, with the fluffiness of angel food cake. For extra sweetness follow recipe as is, for a mild sweet substitute the yellow peaches for 5 - 7 white peaches. Ingredients:
20 ounces yellow peaches |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
10 ounces vanilla pudding |
6 tablespoons butter |
2 eggs |
1 cup milk |
16 ounces cream cheese |
1 cup sugar |
6 tablespoons peach juice |
Directions:
1. Cake -. 2. Grease pan. 3. Beat together all ingredients except peaches until smooth. 4. pour into greased pan. 5. Drain peaches and place over batter. 6. Topping -. 7. combine all ingredients. 8. beat until creamy. 9. cover peaches and raw batter with topping. 10. (optional) sprinkle over with cinnamon and sugar. 11. Bake at 350F for 35 - 40 minute. |
