This is a recipe from the cookbook I sent to Bblondie08 in the cookbook swap. Very easy and quick. The recipe is from the book Best of the Best from California Cookbook (Children's Hospital Oakland Cookbook). Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) boxes frozen peas (place in colander and run cold water to separate) |
1 cup celery, chopped |
3/4 cup green onion, chopped |
1/2 lb bacon, fried crisp |
2 eggs, hard-boiled and chopped |
1 lemon, for the juice |
1/4 pint sour cream |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped |
salt or pepper |
1 tomato, cut into wedges |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together and garnish with tomato wedges. |
