The best coffe cake ever. Can be used as a dessert by adding whipped cream. My potluck request! Ingredients:
1c brown sugar |
1c sugar |
2c flour |
1t baking soda |
1/2 t salt |
1 stick butter |
1c buttermilk |
1 large egg |
1/2 t vanilla |
1/2 c pecans |
1 bag toffee chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350 2. Butter and flour 13X9 baking pan 3. Combine sugars 4. Sift in flour, baking soda, salt 5. Cut in butter 6. Reserve 1/2 C for topping 7. Combine buttermilk, egg, and vanilla in bowl 8. Add to dry ingredients, using mixer, may add more buttermilk if needed 9. Pour into baking pan 10. Combine reserved mixture, pecans and toffee chips 11. Sprinkle over cake batter 12. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 |
