after school treat. our own invention Ingredients:
2 cups self rising flour |
1/4 cup peanut butter |
1/4 cup margarine |
3/4 cup evaporated milk |
16 teaspoons grape jelly |
3 tablespoons brown sugar |
Directions:
1. cut butter and peanut butter (if you got that natural kind that gets all hard) into the flour and sugar. 2. add milk to make a dough you can roll out. you may not need the full 3/4 cup. if you have soft peanut butter, you can add that to the milk before mixing with the flour. 3. roll out dough and cut into 16 squares. You could also do circles if you like, but for me, squares are easier. 4. place 1 teaspoon jelly in middle of each dough piece then fold over like a little pie. Try to seal it up. The jelly melts in the oven and makes a mess if you don't. 5. bake at 375 for about 15 minutes. 6. my kids really like these. |
